Mary B. Browning, 88, Waverly, Ohio passed away March 2, 2015 at her residence. She was born in Greenup County, Kentucky, May 13, 1926, a daughter of the late John Allen and Ellen Fraley Allen. Surviving are two sons, Charles W. Browning Jr of Lakeview, Ohio, Michael David Browning of Waverly, Ohio, five daughters, Beatrice Shields, Freda Moore, Ellen Osborne, Barbara Mullett all of Piketon, Ohio and Betty Brown of Waverly, Ohio, one brother, Richard Allen of Piketon, Ohio, four sisters, Bessie Roe and Garnet Roe both of South Shore, Kentucky, Essie Elliott of Portsmouth, Ohio and Lucille Bishop of East Palestine, Ohio, thirty one grandchildren, eighty eight great grandchildren and forty five great great grandchildren. Preceded in death by her husband, Charles W. Browning, February 18, 1984, two sons, John W. Browning, William E. Howard, four brothers, Clyde Allen, James Allen, Johnny Allen and Charles Allen, three sisters, Bertha Fout, Doris Moore and Emma Stevens. Funeral services will be held 1 P.M. Thursday, March 5, 2015 at the Roberson Funeral Home in South Shore, Kentucky, with Jack Osborne, officiating. Burial will follow in Piketon Mound Cemetery, Piketon, Ohio.
