Marsha Stapleton, 73, of South Shore, KY., passed away Sunday, September 21, 2025, at Southern Ohio Medical Center in Portsmouth, OH. She was born in Portsmouth, OH., on February 5, 1952, a daughter of the late Charles and Wilma Conley Bush.

She was a proud member of the Red Hat Society.

Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by one sister, Paulette Stapleton.

Left behind to cherish her memory are her husband of 28 years, Jesse Franklin Stapleton; one daughter, Stephanie (Rick English) Justice; two sons, Joshua (Missy) Quillen and Jesse Stapleton JR; two sisters, Debbie Howell and Audra Newkirk; two brothers, Larry Bush and Kevin Bush; eight grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and several other family and friends who will sadly miss her.

A memorial service will be held at 3 P.M. Saturday, October 11, 2025, at Roberson Funeral Home in South Shore, KY., with Gary Howell officiating. A gathering for family and friends will be at the funeral home on Saturday from 1 P.M. until the service hour at 3 P.M. Inurnment will take place at a later date.
