Mark Lovins, 64, of South Shore, Kentucky passed away Feb. 25, 2016 in Hospice Care Center in Ashland, Kentucky. He was born June 6, 1951 in Kermit, West Virginia, a son of the late Bennie Lovins and Lucille Chafin Lovins, he was a U.S. Army Veteran.
Preceded in death by one brother, Robert Lovins and one sister, Margaret Evans.
Surviving are his wife, Deborah Lovins to whom he married, June 17, 1972, three sons, Mark Aaron Lovins, Weslie Phillip Lovins and Michael Paul Lovins all of Greenup, Kentucky, two brothers, Jim (Vicky) Lovins of Greenup, Kentucky, Jack Lovins of Garland, Nebraska, eight sisters, Mae Murphy of Beckley, West Virginia, Christine Rancourt of Middletown, Conn., Jennie Lovins of Middletown, Conn., Linda Meade of Kermit, West Virginia, Darlene Goble of Naugatuck, West Virginia, Brenda Norwood off Wilcox, Arizona, Lucy Pacyna, Blandchester, Ohio and Irma Riffle of New Haven, West Virginia, seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Memorial service will be held 2 P.M. Sunday, Feb. 28, 2016 at the Roberson Funeral Home in South Shore, Kentucky. Friends may call at the Funeral home from 1- 2 P.M. on Sunday.
