Mark Winfield Harris, 68, of Greenup, Kentucky, was called home on June 12, 2026, at his residence. He was born on January 25, 1958, in Cincinnati, Ohio, to Betty Compton Harris and the late Chester Harris.

Mark had a deep love for the Lord. He was a retired engineer with CSX Railroad and was an avid shooter who enjoyed shooting and reloading ammunition. He also had a passion for gardening and caring for his bees.

He is survived by his mother and two sons: Nathaniel (Heather) Harris of South Shore, Kentucky, and Ian Harris of Greenup, Kentucky. He also leaves behind two daughters, Heather (David) French of Wurtland, Kentucky, and Rachel Harris of Greenup, Kentucky, as well as four grandchildren. Additionally, he is survived by two sisters, Kimberly Harris of Greenup, Kentucky, and Pam Harris Ragan of Morehead, Kentucky, as well as a special friend and companion, Phoebe Rose of Greenup, Kentucky. He will be deeply missed by many other family members and friends.

The family will hold a memorial service at a later date. His care has been entrusted to Roberson Funeral Home in South Shore, Kentucky.
