Mark L. Elliott, 55, of South Shore, Kentucky, passed away Jan. 9, 2022 in Huntington, West Virginia. He was born in Jacksonville, Florida, Feb. 25, 1966, a son of Robert (Paula) Elliott and Darlene Fouraker Gibson. Mark was a U.S. Army Ranger.

Preceded in death by one sister, Janet Myers.

Surviving besides his parents are his wife, Angela Lyons Elliott, daughter, Jennifer (James) Hewett, brothers, Colt Gibson, Josh (Christen) Hinson, Bish (Lindsey) Hinson, sister, Cassie (Ray) Hickman, niece and nephew, Brandon Eibach and Taylor (Adam) Lowe, mother and father in law, Luther and Ruth Lyons.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 13, 2022 at the Roberson Funeral Home in South Shore, Kentucky with Rev. Kenneth W. Potter, officiating. Burial will follow in the Luther Lyons Cemetery, South Shore, Kentucky. Friends may call at the funeral home from 11 a.m. till the service hour at 1 p.m. on Thursday. Military Services will be by the James Dickey American Legion Post 23, Portsmouth, Ohio.
