Mark Anthony Dowdy, 56, of South Shore, KY., passed away Friday, June 17, 2016 in Louisville, KY. He was born April 20, 1960 a son of the late Wayne and Charlotte Conley Dowdy. Mark was a Millwright out of Local 1090 in Akron, OH., he enjoyed wood working an racing. Besides his parents Mark was preceded in death by one brother David "Duke" Dowdy. Surviving are his wife Cindy Smith Dowdy of South Shore, KY., one brother Butch Dowdy of South Shore, KY., three sisters Teresa Craycraft, Charmaine Kennard and Nikki Wright all of South Shore, KY. Funeral Services will be 2 P.M. Wednesday, June 22, 2016 at the Roberson Funeral Home in South Shore, KY., with Rev. Winfred Fugate officiating. Burial will follow at MT Zion Cemetery in South Shore, KY. Friends may call at the Roberson Funeral Home Wednesday June 22, 2016 from 10 A.M. until the funeral hour.
