Marie Potter, 74, of South Shore, KY went to be with her Lord Wednesday, September 17, 2014 at her residence. She was born September 2, 1940 in Logan, West Virginia, a daughter of the late Linville Browning and Mabel Mae Perry Browning.
Marie was a homemaker, a loving wife, mother, and mammaw who loved nothing more than spending time with her family. She was the number one fan of her grandson that races dirt track modifieds. She was a devoted woman of God.
Preceded in death by her husband of 51 years Clyde Burton Potter, who passed away March 7, 2011, one brother Linville Browning Jr, and two grandchildren Christopher and Patrick Mullens.
Surviving are two sons Clyde (Dianna) Potter Jr of South Shore, KY, and Mike (Susan) Potter of Columbus, OH, two daughters Lisa Mullens of Piketon, OH and April Wright of South Shore, KY, two sisters, Drema Damron of Ironton, OH and Brenda Delaney of Fort Wayne, IN. Marie is also survived by two grandchildren Colten Wright and Katherine Mullens.
Funeral Services will be 1 pm. Monday, September 22, 2014 at the Roberson Funeral Home in South Shore, KY with Pastor Gary Newman, officiating. Burial will be in Warnock Cemetery in Warnock, KY. Friends may call at the Roberson Funeral Home Sunday, September 21, 2014 from 6 pm until 8 pm and from 11 am until the Funeral hour on Monday.
