Mabel Irene Hamilton, 86, of South Shore, Kentucky, went to be with her Lord, Oct. 15, 2015 in Hill View Retirement Center in Portsmouth, Ohio. She was born in Maloneton, Kentucky, June 5, 1929, a daughter of the late Virgil B. Murray and Emma S. Thompson Murray, a 67 year member of the South Shore Church of God, Second and Robbins, South Shore, Kentucky. Preceded in death by her husband, Jack Hamilton, Feb. 26, 1991, four brothers, Elwood Murray, Clifford Murray, Vernon Murray and Herman Murray, step mother, Irene Virgin Murray. Surviving are two sons, Ronald (Patricia) Hamilton of North Branch, Michigan, Kenny (Andrea) Hamilton of Portsmouth, Ohio, three daughters, Debbie (Kenny) Taylor, Ava Hamilton and Michelle (Joe) Liles all of South Shore, Kentucky, one sister, Hazel Osborne of Fort Ashby, West Virginia, fifteen grandchildren, twenty six great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. Funeral services will be held 1 P.M. Sunday, Oct. 18, 2015 at the South Shore Church of God, Second and Robbins, South Shore, Kentucky with Rev. Kenneth Potter, officiating. Burial will follow in Murray Cemetery, South Shore, Kentucky. Friends may call at the Church from 5 P.M. till 8 P.M. on Saturday, Oct. 17, 2015 and from 11 A.M. till the funeral hour on Sunday.
