Lowell L. Meenach, 80, of South Shore, Kentucky, passed away May 4, 2016 in Southern Ohio Medical Center in Portsmouth, Ohio. He was born in Carter County, Kentucky, Feb. 13, 1936, a son of the late Virgil Meenach and Carrie Justice Meenach, a farmer and a member of Load Christian Baptist Church, Load, Kentucky, retired from North American Refractories, South Shore, Kentucky. Preceded in death by one sister, Lois Barker and one brother, Hayden Meenach. Surviving are his wife Darlene Taylor Meenach to whom he married, June 19, 1954 and their devotion has been close ever since, two sons, Danny (Valerie) Meenach of South Shore, Kentucky, Mike (Leia) Meenach of Lloyd, Kentucky, one daughter, Debra (Ronnie) Tackett of South Shore, Kentucky, two brothers, Wayne Meenach of South Shore, Kentucky, Ray Meenach of Wheelersburg, Ohio, one sister, Helen Meenach of Englewood, Ohio, seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 11 A.M. Saturday, May 7, 2016 at the Roberson Funeral Home in South Shore, Kentucky with Brother Robbie Bond, officiating. Burial will follow in MT. Zion Cemetery, South Shore, Kentucky. Friends may call at the Roberson Funeral Home from 6 till 8 P.M. Friday, May 6, 2016 and one hour before the service time on Saturday.
