Lowell C. Carver, 80, of Quincy, Kentucky, passed away, Dec. 20, 2016 in Southern Ohio Medical Center in Portsmouth, Ohio. He was born June 2, 1936 in Lewis County, Kentucky, a son of the late George W. Carver and Dorothy L. Carter Carver. Preceded in death by one brother, Norman Carver. Surviving are his wife, Peggy Kennedy Carver, three sons, Lowell "Lonnie" Carver of Quincy, Kentucky, Shannon L. Carver of Portsmouth, Ohio and Damon "DJ" Carver of Quincy, Kentucky, four brothers, David Carver of South Portsmouth, Kentucky, Bob Carver of Quincy, Kentucky, Gary Carver of Quincy, Kentucky, Melvin Carver of Garrison, Kentucky, four sisters, Catheryn Davis of Vanceburg, Kentucky, Edna Bloomfield and Marcella Cabell both of Quincy, Kentucky, Wanda Pruitt of Garrison, Kentucky, three grandsons, Jarred Carver, Jordan Carver and Jacob Carver, one granddaughter Alexanderia Carver. Funeral services will be held 2 P.M. Thursday, Dec. 22, 2016 at the Roberson Funeral Home in South Shore, Kentucky with Rev. Finley Surgener, officiating. Burial will follow in Crystal-Dawn Cemetery, Quincy, Kentucky. Friends may call at the Funeral Home from 11 A.M. till the Funeral hour at 2 P.M. on Thursday.
