Louise Ratliff, 81, of Portsmouth, OH., passed away February 28, 2014 at Southern Ohio Medical Center in Portsmouth, OH. She was born February 6, 1933 in Portsmouth, OH., a daughter of the late Denver Vaughn and Elizabeth Bentley Vaughn. She attended the Portsmouth First Church of Nazarene in Portsmouth, OH., and retired from GTE where she worked as an operator. Preceded in death by her husband Delbert Ray Ratliff Sr., who passed away January 16, 2006, one son Michael Ray Ratliff, two brothers Elwood Vaughn and Bill Vaughn. Surviving are her three sons Mark Gregory (Patti) Ratliff of Hilliard, OH., Willie (Ruth) Ratliff of Portsmouth, OH., and D.R. Ratliff of Portsmouth, OH., two daughters Debbie Bell of Portsmouth, OH., Karla Ratliff of Columbus, OH., and one sister of Katherine Evans Sanford of Portsmouth, OH. Louise is also survived by twenty grandchildren and nineteen great grandchildren. Funeral Services will be 11 A.M. Wednesday, March 5, 2014 at South Shore Old Regular Baptist Church 721 Main Street South Shore, KY 41175, with Rev. Brian Holbrook, officiating. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Friends may call at the Church Tuesday, March 4, 2014 from 6 P.M. till 8 P.M. and from 9 A.M. till the funeral hour on Wednesday.
