Louie Patton, 84 of South Shore, Kentucky, went to be with his lord, Saturday, October 5, 2013 in Southern Ohio Medical Center, Hospice in Portsmouth, Ohio. He was born at Lynn, Kentucky January 21, 1929, a son of the late John Patton and Stella Hammond Patton. He was a member of the South Shore First Church of God, a U.S. Army Korean War Veteran and retired as a Brakeman for the Norfolk-Southern Railroad in Portsmouth, Ohio.
Surviving are his wife, Violet Quesinberry Patton, to whom he married May 14, 1955, two sons, Dennis Patton of Vincennes, Indiana and Roger Patton of Loveland, Ohio, four grandsons and Three great grandchildren.
Preceded in death by two brothers, Roy and Woodford Patton, two sisters, Mary Mae Qualls and Gladys Bowling
Funeral services 2 P.M. Wednesday, October 9, 2013 at the South Shore First Church of God, with Rev. Dave Devoll, officiating. Burial in MT. Zion Cemetery in South Shore, Kentucky. Friends may call at the South Shore First Church of God from 11 A.M. till the funeral hour at 2 P.M.
