Lori Sturgill, 63, of South Shore, KY., passed away Sunday, August 11, 2024 at Kings Daughters Medical Center in Ashland, KY. She was born in Akron, OH., November 26, 1960 a daughter of the late Richard and Teresa Chenevey McElhinny.

Along with her parents she is preceded in death by two brothers-in-law, Bill Cook and Butch Innis.

Left behind to cherish her memory are her husband of 39 years Michael Sturgill; three children, Ben Sturgill of South Shore, KY., Richard Sturgill of South Shore, KY., and Patty Sturgill of Columbus, OH; eight siblings, Jeff McElhinny, Barbara Cook, Mary Beth (Toni) Ninni, Annette (Kim) Boser, Shelly Innis, Lisa (Alan) Tobin, Jane (Greg) Gossman and Julie (Jack) Durante. Along with several grandchildren, family and friends who will sadly miss her.

Funeral services will be 5 P.M. Thursday, August 15, 2024 at Roberson Funeral Home in South Shore, KY., with Pastor Kenny Potter officiating. Visitation will be at the funeral home Thursday, from 3 P.M. until the funeral hour.
