Lloyd Timothy “Tim” Lewis, 77, of South Shore, Kentucky, passed away Thursday, September 3, 2026, at his residence. He was born in South Portsmouth, Kentucky, on April 2, 1949, a son of the late James Walker Lewis JR and Pearl Mae Evans Lewis.

Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Valerie Faye Clark Lewis; his daughter, Loretta Lynn Pierce; grandson, Shane Tyler Pierce; and sisters, Alice Barnhouse and Glenna Veach.

Left to cherish his memory are his son, Lloyd Timothy (Rita Mae) Lewis of South Shore, Kentucky, one son-in-law and close friend, Roger Pierce; and three grandchildren: Samantha Nichole (Mike) Sherwood of Firebrick, Kentucky; Levi Paden Lewis (Holly) of Greenup, Kentucky; and Steven Wade Lewis (Mackenzie) of Vanceburg, KY. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren: Aaron "AJ" Lewis, Ruger Sherwood, Liam Lewis, and Clara Lewis, along with other family and friends who will deeply miss him.

The family will hold a memorial at a later date to be announced. Tim is under the care of the Roberson Funeral Home in South Shore, Kentucky.
