Lloyd J. “Butch” Conley, 72, of South Shore, Kentucky, and Lucasville, Ohio, passed away on June 2, 2026, at Southern Ohio Medical Center in Portsmouth, Ohio. He was born on October 31, 1953, to the late Orville and Ramona Williams Conley.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by one step-daughter, April Schwartz.

Butch was an enthusiastic trap and skeet shooter, a skilled gunmaker, and a long-time member of the Greenup County Wildlife Club. He had a passion for building and riding motorcycles.

He is survived by his longtime companion, Claudia A. Holsinger; two sons, Joseph Kane Conley of Peebles, Ohio, and Nathan (Megan) Holsinger of Portsmouth, Ohio; a stepdaughter, Candy Dowdy of South Webster, Ohio; twelve grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. He is also survived by his two sisters, Debra (Paul) Downs of Columbus, Ohio, and Susie (Donnie) Robinson of Lloyd, Kentucky. Additionally, he leaves behind several family members and friends who will deeply miss him.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, June 8, 2026, from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at Roberson Funeral Home in South Shore, Kentucky.
