Linda Sue Russell, 64 of Portsmouth Ohio, passed away April 30, 2014 in SOMC Hospice in Portsmouth Ohio. She was born Dec. 29, 1949 in Portsmouth, Ohio, a daughter of the late Jasper Roe and Dova Bell Roe. Preceded in death by her husband, James H. Russel Sr. Jan. 17, 2011, one son James Russell Jr, granddaughter, Rickey Ray Gilliam, one sister Ruby Parker. Surviving are one daughter, Rebecca "Rick" Colley Gilliam of Portsmouth, Ohio, five grandchildren, Brittany, Cody and Samantha Colley and Annie and Erica Gilliam, one brother, Joe Roe of Wheelersburg, Ohio, three sisters, Brenda Stamper of Garrison, Kentucky and Peggy Egner of Sciotoville, Ohio and Judy Spriggs of Texas. Funeral service 1 P.M. Saturday May 3, 2014 at the South Shore Old Regular Baptist Church in South Shore, Kentucky with, Danny Bentley, officiating. Burial will be in Vernon Cemetery, Wheelersburg, Ohio. Friends may call at the Church from 11 A.M. till the Funeral hour at 1 P.M. on Saturday.
