Linda Sue Rodman Hill, 75, of Greenup, Kentucky, went to her heavenly home on Wednesday, May 13, 2026, at SOMC Hospice in Portsmouth, Ohio. She was born in Louisville, Kentucky, on September 16, 1950, to the late William and Dorothy Brinkworth Rodman.

Linda was a medical technologist who graduated from the University of Louisville in 1972. She worked in various hospitals and retired from Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown, Kentucky. A lifelong member of the Baptist Church, her final place of service and membership was First Baptist Church of Lloyd. As a dedicated pastor’s wife, she served alongside her husband for 44 years at many churches throughout Kentucky.

Linda enjoyed participating in WMU activities, teaching Sunday school and Vacation Bible School (VBS), and engaging in various mission projects. She had a deep passion for the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering and was involved with The Gideons International, an evangelical association.

Her most cherished titles were wife, mother, and grandmother, or "Gram." She loved playing and watching sports, working in her rock garden, and spending time with her children and grandchildren. Additionally, she was an avid collector of Coca-Cola memorabilia and Nativities.

Left behind to cherish her memory is her husband of 53 years, Dr. James (Jim) E. Hill; sons, Jay Hill of Louisville, Kentucky, and Josh (Jeni) Hill of Greenup, Kentucky; three grandchildren, Dawson, Gracey, and Izzy; sister, Janet (Gerald) Shumate, and niece, Amy Shumate of Louisville, Kentucky; Hill family sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews; numerous close friends, and a special, thoughtful, loyal friend and neighbor, Donna Quesada.

Funeral services will be Saturday, May 16, 2026, at 1:00 P.M. at Roberson Funeral Home in South Shore, Kentucky, with Russ Foster officiating. Visitation for family and friends will be held from 11:00 A.M until the funeral hour. Graveside service will take place at Cave Hill Cemetery in Louisville, Kentucky, on Tuesday, May 19, 2026, at 1:00 P.M.
