Leonard Earl Potter, 66, of South Shore, Kentucky passed away Dec. 3, 2013 in Kings Daughters Medical Center in Ashland, Kentucky. He was born in Greenup County, Kentucky Dec. 3, 1947, a son of the late Leslie and Mary Humble Potter.
Surviving are his wife, Mary Frazier Potter, five daughters, Mary Ann Potter Branham of Tipp City, Ohio, Amie Lemaster, Martha Potter and Amanda Potter all of Jeffersonville, Ohio and Amber West of Polk City, Florida, three sons, Jamie Potter of Washington Courthouse, Ohio, Jeremy Potter of Jeffersonville, Ohio and William Potter of Greenup, Kentucky and two grandsons he raised as his own, Christopher Potter of Jeffersonville, Ohio, Austin Crawford of South Shore, Kentucky, four sisters, Elizabeth Rayburn, Della Tucker, Bonnie Callihan and Georgia Ellison, one brother, Charlie Potter.
Preceded in death by one sister, Ella Potter, two brothers, Leslie Junior Potter and Carl Potter.
Funeral services will be 11 A.M. Saturday at the South Shore Old Regular Baptist church in South Shore, Kentucky with Rev. Glenn Newsome, officiating. Burial will be in Frazier Cemetery in South Shore, Kentucky. Friends may call at the South Shore Old Regular Baptist Church from 6 P.M. till 8 P.M. on Friday Dec. 6, 2013 and from 9 A.M. till the Funeral hour on Saturday. Roberson Funeral home in South Shore, Kentucky are in charge of arrangements.
