Lenard Moore, 96, of South Shore, KY, passed away Monday, Oct. 1, 2018 at his residence. He was born Pilgram, KY, March 1,1922 , a son of the late Doug and Virgie (Toby) Parsley Moore. Lenard served in the U.S. Army Air Corps from 1943 till 1946. He was a member of the Antioch United Baptist Church in South Portsmouth, KY.

Preceded in death by his wife of 70 years, Martha Jane Moore, one grandson, Joseph Moore, daughter in law, Ernestine Moore, five brothers and one sister.

Surviving are three sons, Lenard Moore JR, Terry (Debbie) Moore, Larry (Cheryl) Moore all of South Shore, KY, three grandsons, Robert (Sharon ) Moore of South Shore, KY, Ryan (Tara) Moore of Mountain Side, NJ, Russell (Anna) Moore of Brooklyn, NY, two granddaughters, Kelly (Donnie) Nolen, Emily (Chris) Morgan, three great granddaughters, five great grandsons and one great great granddaughter.

Funeral services will be held 1 P.M. Thursday, Oct. 4, 2018, at the Roberson Funeral Home in South Shore, KY with Elder Clayton Oliver and Marshall Oliver, officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Zion Cemetery in South Shore, KY. Friends may call at the Funeral Home from 11 A.M. till the Funeral hour at 1 P.M.

Military graveside services will be by James L Dickey American Legion Post 23, Portsmouth, Ohio.
