Larry "Linc" Thompson, 64, of South Shore, Kentucky, passed away, June 5, 2019 in ST. Marys Hospital in Huntington, West Virginia. He was born in Williamson, West Virginia, Aug. 30, 1954, a son of the late John L Thompson and Chloe Dutton Thompson. Linc was a U.S. Army Veteran.

Preceded in death by three brothers, John Thompson Jr, Eddy Thompson and twin brother Gary Thompson, two sisters, Louise Keeton and Kathy Smith.

Surviving are his wife, Jean Adams Thompson, two sons, Robert Alavezos of South Shore, Kentucky and Scott Alavezos of Huntington, West Virginia, three brothers, Lester Thompson and Lynn Thompson both of Huntington, West Virginia, David Thompson of Man, West Virginia, two sisters, Helen Dellinger of Toledo, Ohio, Kay Salyer of Paradise, California, five grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Sunday, June 9, 2019 at the Roberson Funeral Home in South Shore, Kentucky with Brother Ben Carver, officiating. Friends may call at the Funeral Home from 12 p.m. till the service hour at 2 p.m. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family at a later date.
