Larry Eugene Plummer, 72, of South Shore, Kentucky went to be with his lord, March 6, 2015 in Ohio State University Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. He was born in Baltimore, Maryland, Jan. 17, 1943, a son of Vernon Plummer and the Late Ruth Boyles Plummer. Larry was a graduate of McKell High School, class of 1962, a US Army Veteran serving in the Vietnam War, member of the Unity Full Gospel Fellowship Church in New Boston, Ohio, a Baker at the former Big Bear, Portsmouth, Ohio, former employee of Chas-Taylor Refractories and former owner of Larry's Donut Shop, he also attended Morehead State University. Surviving are his wife Marolyn Click Plummer to whom he married, April 15, 1972, one son, Joshua L. Plummer, one daughter, Heather Plummer Meade both of South Shore, Kentucky. Father and step Mother, Vernon "Leona " Plummer of South Shore, Kentucky, two step brothers, Larry Euton of Wheelersburg, Ohio, Terry Euton of Columbus, Ohio, step sister, Linda "Gary" Keller of Lucasville, Ohio, two grandchildren, Tyler Nelson and Kayla Nelson, two great grandchildren, Maxwell McGuire and Malaya McGuire, four special great grandchildren, Savannah Dawson, Brennan Fritz, Shelly Hunt and Waylon Fritz. Larry was loved by his family and grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 2 P.M. Wednesday, March 11, 2015 at the Roberson Funeral Home in South Shore, Kentucky with Rev. Jack Howard and Rev. Richard Stiles, officiating. Burial will follow in Siloam Cemetery, South Shore, Kentucky. Friends may call at the Roberson Funeral Home from 6 P.M. till 8 P.M. Tuesday and one hour before the funeral hour on Wednesday. Military graveside services will be conducted by James Dickey American Legion Post #23 of Portsmouth, Ohio.
