Larry Joe Cooper, 51, of West Portsmouth OH., passed away Saturday, March 26, 2016 at his residence. He was born June 21, 1964 in Portsmouth, OH., a son of the late Samuel Lee Cooper. Larry was of the Baptist Faith and a retired insurance salesman from American General Life Insurance Company. Surviving are his wife Audrey Hayslip Cooper of West Portsmouth, OH., mother and step father Barbara (Walter) Cremeans of Portsmouth, OH., four daughters Kayla Jo Cooper of Portsmouth, OH., Kristan Cooper of South Shore, KY., Valerie Spencer of South Shore, KY., and Julie Bender of Lucasville, OH., one son David Kelley JR. of Portsmouth, OH., two brothers David Shawn Cooper of Minford OH., and Samuel Cooper of South Portsmouth, KY. He also survived by five grandchildren Haley Stapleton, Alexis Stapleton, Aubrey Evans, Avalee Evans and Skyla Boggs. Funeral Services will be 1 P.M. Thursday, March 31, 2016 at the Roberson Funeral Home in South Shore, KY with Rev. Ralph Hayslip officiating. Burial will follow in Collier Memorial Gardens South Portsmouth, KY. Friends may call at the Roberson Funeral Home Wednesday, March 30, 2016 from 6 P.M. until 8 P.M. and one hour before the service on Thursday.
