Larry Gale Adkins, 76, of South Shore, Kentucky passed away, Aug. 20, 2021 in Southern Ohio Medical Center in Portsmouth, Ohio. He was born in Lynn, Kentucky, Dec. 7, 1944, a son of the late Arnie Adkins and Nancy Cremeans Adkins. Larry was a retired Landscaper with the Breakers Hotel, Palm Beach, Florida.

Preceded in death by his wife, Irene Adkins, sister, Connie Adkins, brothers, Ronald Adkins, Ray Adkins and step son, Chuck Miller.

Surviving are one step daughter, Peggy Mikas, San Antonio, Texas, sister, Sue (Kenny) Bailey of South Shore, Kentucky, grandchildren, Jake (Krissy) Mikas, Jennifer (Steven) Sherry and three great grandchildren and a host of extended family and friends.

A memorial service will be held at 5 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 2, 2021 at the Roberson Funeral Home in South Shore, Kentucky with Rev. Kenneth W. Potter, officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home from 3 p.m. till the service hour at 5 p.m. on Thursday.
