LaFanna Boggs McKenzie, 85, of Greenup, KY., went to be with her Lord Wednesday, May 14, 2025, at Concord Health & Rehabilitation Center in Wheelersburg, OH. She was born in Letitia, KY., August 20, 1939, a daughter of the late Willard and Lenora Stone Boggs.

LaFanna was a member of White Oak Chapel Church. Among her most pleasurable activities were Bible Study, Teaching Sunday School, and recording family history. She loved to be "Granny" to her grandsons and friends; they never left her house hungry.

Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Herbert McKenzie; one son, Joe McKenzie; two brothers, Donald and Gordon Boggs; one sister, Linda Williams; and one brother-in-law, Robert Williams.

Left behind to cherish her memory are one son, Mark (DeAnn) McKenzie; two sisters-in-law, Sue Boggs and Connie Boggs; two grandsons, Travis (Robin) McKenzie and Brandon (Madison Scarberry) McKenzie; three great-grandchildren, Marley Hall, Ryan (Emily) Willis and Rae Ann (Brad) Bailey; three great-great-grandchildren, Colter Willis, Kacee Bailey, Kynadi Bailey and several other family and friends who will sadly miss her.

Funeral services will be 11 A.M. Wednesday, May 21, 2025, at Roberson Funeral Home in South Shore, KY., with Mark Price officiating. Burial will follow at Collier Memorial Gardens in South Portsmouth, KY. Visitation for family and friends will be on Tuesday, May 20, 2025, at the funeral home from 6 P.M. until 8 P.M. and one hour before the service on Wednesday.
