Kimberly Odessa Howell Griffith, 52, departed life, to join her Heavenly Father, March 27, 2015, while a patient at Ohio State University Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio. Kimberly was born July 30, 1962, in Columbus, Ohio, to  Shirley Stephenson Howell Walters and the late Kenneth Howell, Sr. Kimberly had a heart of gold, which she demonstrated with the field of study and work she chose. She was a long term employee of Franklin County M.R.D.D. where she loved and worked with handicapped adults. In addition she did respite care for her clients in her home. Kimberly was an avid gardner and excellent cook. She had great compassion for animals and lovingly cared for her many pets. Left to mourn and forever cherish her memory is: Her husband, Dan Griffith, of Circleville, Ohio; two beautiful daughters, of whom she adored, Danielle Griffith of Liberty College, Lynchburg, Va. And Brynn Griffith, at home; mother, Shirley Walters, Orlando, Florida; a brother, Kenneth Howell, Jr (Jackie) of Pataskala, Ohio; a very special niece, Kenley Howell of Pataskala, Ohio; many cousins as well as numerous friends at Franklin County M.M.R.D. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her stepfather, Jack Walters and a very loving aunt, Deanie Fitch, whom she often visited during holidays and summer vacations. Services will be held 1 P.M. Wednesday, April 1, 2015 at the Roberson Funeral Home in South Shore, Kentucky with Brother Gary Howell, officiating. Burial will follow at the Howell Cemetery, Vanceburg, Kentucky at a later date. Friends may call at the Roberson Funeral Home from 12 noon till the service hour at 1 P.M. on Wednesday.
