Kerry Randall (Randy) Clay of South Shore, Ky., passed away November 17, 2015. Randy was born on October 3, 1956 to Clarence (Soc) and Wanda Clay. He was a 1974 graduate of Greenup County High School and played football for the McKell and GCHS teams.  He later attended Morehead State University where he studied history. Randy spent 25 years in the Florida Keys where he worked for Charles River Laboratories. He was an avid fan of the Cincinnati Reds,  Philadelphia Eagles and an outdoorsman who loved to hunt and fish.  He was a generous soul with a big heart, a love for children, and for animals.  His final act of generosity was to offer his organs for donation.  Randy also had a knack for creating lifelong nicknames for his friends. Randy is survived by his parents, one brother Tom (Robin) Clay, one sister Carla Jo (Don) Piening, three nieces, and one nephew. A celebration of Randy's life will be held on Saturday November 21, Noon to 2 PM at the Church of God Annex, Main Street South Shore, Ky. The arrangements are under the direction of the Roberson Funeral Home South Shore, KY.
