Kenneth Wilburn, 80, of Georgetown, Kentucky, formerly of Carter City, Kentucky, passed away on Tuesday, April 7, 2026, at his home. He was born in Lower Grassy, Kentucky, on May 18, 1945, to the late Roy and Rosie Parsons Wilburn.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Karen Marie Griffith, and a sister, Lorene Jordan.

Kenneth had a long career as a truck driver for Walmart and was passionate about drag racing and classic cars.

He is survived by his wife, Donna Wilburn, of Grayson, Kentucky; two sons, Kenneth E. (Melanie) Wilburn of Ashland, Kentucky, and Darryl A. (Sharon) Wilburn of Grayson, Kentucky; and two sisters, Loretta McClurg of Wurtland, Kentucky, and Brenda (Bill) Edwards of Williamsburg, Kentucky. He is also survived by his two brothers, Randy (Effie) Wilburn and Glade (Mary) Wilburn, both of Carter City, Kentucky. Additionally, he leaves behind eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren, with two more on the way. He also had a special friend, Harry Burke, along with many other family members and friends who will deeply miss him.

A celebration of life is scheduled for Saturday, April 11, 2026, from 2 P.M. to 5 P.M. at Roberson Funeral Home in South Shore, Kentucky.
