Kenneth Wayne Stevens, 77, of South Shore, KY., passed away June 16, 2017 at Sothern Ohio Medical Center in Portsmouth, OH. He was born May 23, 1940 in Greenup County, KY., a son of the late Morton and Thelma Watkins Fetters.

Ken was a 1960 Graduate from Mckell High School and also a Graduate of ACTC in Ashland, KY. He was a Carpenter Superintendent out of Local 302 in Huntington, W.VA., and loved to hunt and garden.

Besides his parents he is preceded in death by one sister, Donna Hale.

Surviving are his wife Bernice Tolliver Stevens of South Shore, KY., one son L.D. (Donna) Stevens of South Shore, KY., one daughter Susy (Dennis Callihan) Bailey of Wurtland, KY., one brother Alex Stevens of Wurtland, KY., one sister Dallas Helen Riggs of South Shore, KY., and a special son in law Jack (Melissa) Hixson. Also surviving are three grandchildren Jessica (Jessica Crum) Hixson, Cole Tolliver Stevens and Braxton Stevens, and his beagle Missy who he loved dearly.

Funeral Services will be 1 P.M. Tuesday, June 20, 2017 at the Roberson Funeral Home in South Shore, KY., with Brother Gary Howell officiating. Burial will follow at Stevens Family Cemetery in South Shore, KY. Friends may call at the Roberson Funeral Home on Tuesday from 11 A.M. until the funeral hour at 1 P.M.
