Keen "Jack" Fannin, 86, of South Shore, Kentucky went to be with his Lord April 18, 2014 in SOMC Hospice in Portsmouth, Ohio. He was born Oct. 31, 1927 in South Shore, Kentucky, a son of the late Fred and Hiley Childers Fannin. Jack was a Army Veteran, a member of the South Shore First Christian Church, loved spending time outdoors with his family, gardening and rabbit hunting.
Preceded in death by four sisters, Jaunita Belcher, Virginia Newberry, Avenelle May and Marcella Ealy, one brother, Woodrow "Keenis" Fannin.
Surviving are his wife, Grace Pruitt Fannin, two daughters, Debra "Terry" Moore of South Shore, Kentucky, Jacklyn "David" Miracle of Stroudsburg, PA, three grandchildren, Kelly Moore Nolan of Greenup, Kentucky, Emily Moore Morgan of Columbus, Ohio and David Caleb Miracle of Stroudsburg, PA, five great grandchildren, Travis and Hannah Nolan, Kurtis, Alex and Ava Morgan.
Funeral services will be held 1 P.M. Tuesday, April 22, 2014 at the South Shore First Christian Church in South Shore, Kentucky with Pastor Brett Unger, officiating. Burial will be in Collier Memorial Gardens in South Portsmouth, Kentucky. Friends may call at the South Shore First Christian Church from 6 P.M. till 8 P.M. on Monday, April 21, 2014 ad from 12 P.M. till the funeral hour on Tuesday. Roberson Funeral Home in South Shore, Kentucky are in charge of arrangements. In honor of Jack, the family would like for you to do a random act of kindness.
