Katherine L. Cochran, 62, of South Shore, Kentucky passed away, Sept. 24, 2021 in Southern Ohio Medical Center in Portsmouth, Ohio. She was born in Ashland, Kentucky, July 23, 1959, a daughter of the late Lloyd and Glada Marcum Carter.

Surviving are her husband, Clarence Payne, children, Cindi (Matt) Logan of Grayson, Kentucky, Robby Conley of Chillicothe, Ohio, Tommy (Caitlin) Payne of South Shore, Kentucky, Chasity Payne of Chillicothe, Ohio and John Payne of Columbus, Ohio, brother, Timothy Carter of South Shore, Kentucky, Debbie (Sam ) Morris, Kimberly (Mike) Gilliam both of South Shore, Kentucky, Cherie (Scott) Carr of South Portsmouth, Kentucky, eleven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 29, 2021 at the Roberson Funeral Home in South Shore, Kentucky. Friends may call at the funeral home from 1 p.m. till 3 p.m.
