Joyce Ellen Meadows, 66, of South Shore, Kentucky passed away surrounded by her family Nov. 15, 2022 at her residence. She was born in Portsmouth, Ohio, April 6, 1956, a daughter of the late James Robert Kelley and Violet Louise Traylor Kelley.

Preceded in death besides her parents are one son, Kevin Meadows, one brother, Paul Kelley, sisters, Diana Crabtree and Linda Lou Gilliam.

Surviving are her husband, Hurston Eugene Meadows, two daughters, Peggy (Silvio) Matailo of Peekskill, NY, Bonnie (Byron) Downey of Defiance, Ohio, grandchildren, Kevin Meadows Jr., Briana Matailo and Abigail Downey, brothers, Randall Kelley, Jerry Kelley and Tim Kelley, sisters, Ruby Wright, Patricia Cyrus, Brenda Bomar, Missy Haywood and Tammy Caldwell.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 18, 2022 at the Roberson Funeral Home in South Shore, Kentucky with Brother Randall Kelley, officiating. Burial will follow in Spears Cemetery, Greenup, Kentucky. Friends may call at the funeral home from 11 a.m. till the service hour at 1 p.m. on Friday.
