John C. Mineer, 57, of South Shore, Kentucky passed away, April 30, 2017 at his residence. He was born in Portsmouth, Ohio, July 30, 1960, a son of Nancy Smith Mineer and the late Bennie Mineer. John was a retired signalman for N and W Railroad.

Preceded in death by one son, Jonathan R. Mineer.

Surviving are his mother, Nancy Mineer of South Shore, Kentucky, Brother, Jim Mineer of Columbus, Ohio, two sisters, Frances Cooper of Dayton, Ohio and Donna (Bill) Turner of South Shore, Kentucky.

Memorial service will be held 2 P.M. Wednesday, May 3, 2017 at the Roberson Funeral Home in South Shore, Kentucky with Rev. Kenny Potter, officiating. Friends may call at the Roberson Funeral Home from 1 P.M. till the service hour at 2 P.M.
