John Conley, 77, of South Shore, Kentucky passed away Dec. 19, 2019 in Southern Ohio Medical Center in Portsmouth, Ohio. He was born in Floyd County, Kentucky, Dec. 28, 1941, a son of the late Turner Conley and Alice Mann.

Preceded in death by his step father, Clyde Horner, three brothers, Ellis Conley, JC Conley, Calvin Horner, two sisters, Annlee Hager and Emma Jean Covert.

Surviving are his wife, Leota Spears Conley, three daughters, Pauline (Greg) Smith of Worthington, Kentucky, Jennifer (Vincent) Kish of Chillicothe, Ohio and Patricia (Thomas Musser) Wireman of Greenup, Kentucky, two sons, Tom Conley of Sciotoville, Ohio and Joe (Jessie) Conley of Wheelersburg, Ohio, ten grandchildren, five great grandchildren, four brothers, David Horner, Burl Horner, Randall Horner and Michael Horner, three sisters, Wanda Cremeans, Linda Williams and Shelby Horner.

Funeral services will be held 1 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 21, 2019 at the Roberson Funeral Home in South Shore, Kentucky with Brother Larry Wells, officiating. Burial will follow in Spears Cemetery, South Shore, Kentucky. Friends may call at the funeral home from 11 a.m. till the funeral hour at 1 p.m.
