Jeffrey A. Barfield, 51, of Portsmouth, Ohio passed away, March 6, 2020 at his residence. He was born in Portsmouth, Ohio, Aug. 19, 1968, a son of the late Ellis Barfield Sr. and Ethel Roaemary Eldridge.

Preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters, Ellis Barfield Jr., Billy R. Barfield, Phyllis Boyle and Judith Barfield.

Surviving are two children and their mother, Patricia McCormick, Jeffrey Allen Barfield and Alicia Barfield all of Ashland, Kentucky, one brother, Anthony W. Barfield of Avon, Ohio, four sisters, Janet Lovely of Columbus, Ohio, Virginia Huffard of Londonderry, Ohio, Vickie Hanes of Lucasville, Ohio and Penny Pollitt of Sciotoville, Ohio and a host of extended family and friends.

Funeral services will be held 3 p.m. Saturday, March 14, 2020 at the Roberson Funeral Home in South Shore, Kentucky with Pastor Jim Taylor, officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home from 1 p.m. till the funeral hour at 3 p.m. on Saturday. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
