Janet F. Chaffin, 75, of South Shore, Kentucky went to be with her Lord, Dec. 31, 2014 at her residence. She was born Aug. 13, 1939 in Firebrick, Kentucky, a daughter of the late Code Evans and Ethel Salyers Evans. She was a member of the Antioch United Baptist Church in South Portsmouth, Kentucky. Surviving are one son, Larry Craft of South Shore, Kentucky, two daughters, Melissa "Ben" Clark of South Shore, Kentucky and Tammy "Keith" Harper of Greenup, Kentucky, four grandchildren, Brandon Craft, Felicia Craft, Tabitha Craft and Alexis Chaffin, five great grandchildren. Preceded in death by her husband, Mitchell Chaffin in 1986, three sons, Paul Craft, Lonnie Craft and Walter Craft,  two grandchildren, Crystal Craft and Mandy Craft, three sisters, Marie Howerton, Vivian George and Shirley Hammond, one brother, Herbert Evans. Funeral services will be held 1P.M.  Sunday, Jan. 4, 2015 at the Roberson Funeral Home in South Shore, Kentucky with Elder A.J. Williamson and Elder Tony Blair, officiating. Burial will follow in Collier Memorial Gardens in South Portsmouth, Kentucky. Friends may call at the Roberson Funeral home from 6 P.M. till 8 P.M. on Saturday, Jan. 3, 2015 and from 10 A.M. till the funeral hour on Sunday.
