James Michael (Mike) Scott, 62, of Milton, WV., formerly of Wheelersburg, OH., and South Shore, KY., went to be with the Lord with his loving family by his side on Thursday, June 13, 2013 at St. Mary's Hospital in Huntington WV., after a brief illness. He was born June 21, 1950 to Rosemary "Glenn" Scott of Miamisburg, OH., and the late James L. Scott. He was employed at Big Sandy Superstore for 28 years, during this time he started his career in sales in Portsmouth, OH., then became store manager at the Chillicothe, OH., location . He continued his career as store manager in numerous locations, including Ashland, KY., Southridge, WV., Chesapeake, OH., and at the time of his death was store manager at the Teays Valley, WV., location. He was a member of the Forrest Burdette United Methodist Church in Hurricane WV. Surviving is his loving and devoted wife whom he married July 21, 1985 Nellie "Nickel" Scott of Milton, WV., one son Jay "Tracy" Brewer of Biloxi, Miss., one daughter Melissa "Jeff" Holmes of South Shore, KY., one sister Julie "Gene" Evans of Miamisburg, OH., three granddaughters Natasha Brewer, Casey Holmes, Caylee Holmes and one Grandson Caden Holmes. Funeral Services will be 11 A.M.  Monday, June 17, 2013 at the Sunshine United Methodist Church in South Shore, KY., with Rev. Dan Hogan, Rev. Kenny Fox, and Robert Vanhoose JR., officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery in South Shore, KY. Friends may call at the Roberson Funeral Home in South Shore, KY., on Sunday, June 16, 2013 from 4 P.M. till 8 P.M. and from 10 A.M. till the funeral hour on Monday at the church.
