James R. (Robin) Bailey, 69, of Portsmouth, Ohio, passed away, March 15, 2021 in Southern Ohio Medical Center in Portsmouth, Ohio. He was born in Greenup County, Kentucky, Aug. 23, 1951, a son of the late John Bailey and Doris MCcoy Bailey. Robin was a Veteran of the United States Army.

Preceded in death besides his parents was his Life Partner, Pat Steele, two brothers, Charles Bailey and Howard Bailey.

Surviving are five children, Harold Newman of Portsmouth, Ohio, Carol (Shawn) Sims of Chillicothe, Ohio, Lori Bradley of Portsmouth, Ohio, Jamie (Missy) Bailey of South Shore, Kentucky and Jenny (Tommy) Queen of West Portsmouth, Ohio, two brothers, Leroy (Louise) Bailey of South Shore, Kentucky, David (Sheila) Bailey of Portsmouth, Ohio, four sisters, Phyllis (Robert) Thompson of South Shore, Kentucky, Anna Fugate and Janice (Richard) Adams both of Reynoldsburg, Ohio and Delores Vangundy of South Shore, Kentucky.

Memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, March 22, 2021 at the Roberson Funeral Home in South Shore, Kentucky with Rev. Robert Thompson, officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home from 11 a.m. till 1 p.m. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
