Obituary
James Walter Gilliam, 68 of Portsmouth, Ohio, passed away June 1, 2020 at his residence. He was born in Greenup County, Kentucky, Dec. 25, 1951, a son of the late Willie and Kathryn Gilliam. James was a retired operator for Greenup County.
Preceded in death by his wife, Linda Lou Gilliam, 2018.
Surviving are three sons, James Gilliam Jr. of South Shore, KY, Scott (Lisa) Gilliam of Greenup, KY, Brian (Amanda) Gilliam of South Shore, KY, one daughter, Amanda Gilliam of South Shore, KY, twelve grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, four brothers and two sisters.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. on Friday, June 5, 2020 at the Roberson Funeral home in South Shore, KY with Randall Kelley, officiating. Burial will follow in Gilliam Cemetery, South Shore, KY. Friends may call at the funeral home from 11 a.m. till the funeral hour at 1 p.m.
