James Richard Gallaher, 44, of West Portsmouth, Ohio, passed away Monday, July 19, 2021 at his residence. James was born in Portsmouth, August 7, 1976, a son of Patricia Gallaher and the late Harold Gallaher. James loved his kids, fishing, hunting, Nascar and he was a huge UK Wildcats Fan.

Surviving are three children, James Gallaher Jr. of Portsmouth, Ohio, Jason Gallaher of South Point, Ohio and Elisha Howard, one granddaughter, also survived by four sisters, May Morris of St. Petersburg, Florida, Ruth Jones of Wheelersburg, Ohio, Deborah Howell of Williamsport, PA, Shirley Vanderpool of Kentucky, one brother, Howie Gallaher of Ohio.

Memorial service will be held on Sunday, Aug. 1, 2021 at the Roberson Funeral Home in South Shore, Kentucky from 12 till 1 p.m. on Sunday.
