James Farris, 52, of West Portsmouth, Ohio, passed away at his home on Oct. 24, 2021. He was born In Portsmouth, Ohio, June 16, 1969, a son of Leroy and Louise Gordon Bailey.

Preceded in death by two brothers, Ronald and Donald Farris.

Surviving besides his parents are two children, Jamie (Nate Potter) Farris of South Shore, Kentucky, Jacob Farris of Portsmouth, Ohio, two grandchildren, Leslie and Piper Potter, one brother, Charlie (Tina Charles) Bailey of South Webster, Ohio, one sister, Robin Farris of South Shore, Kentucky and many loving extended family and friends.

Funeral services will held Friday, Oct. 29, 2021 at the Roberson Funeral Home in South Shore, Kentucky with Rev. Bob Thompson, officiating. Burial will follow in MT. Zion Cemetery, South Shore. Friends may call at the funeral home from 11 a.m. till the service hour at 1 p.m. on Friday.
