James Lee (Bub) Adkins, 40 of Adams County, Ohio, passed away Friday, May 29, 2020. He was born Nov. 25, 1979, a son of Wanda Adkins and the late Lenny Adkins. James was a Debarker at Ohio Valley Veneer and loved to work on projects, cars etc., called himself a redneck and loved to drink cold beer when he was relaxing.

Preceded in death besides his father is are one sister, Bessie Adkins Estle, grandparents, Jim and Bessie Royster, Margaret Brown, Walter and Edith Adkins, cousin Joshua Leedy, several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Surviving besides his mother, Wanda Adkins are three children, Nikita and Larry Jenkins, James Wallen (Adkins) and Andrew Wallen (Adkins), two grandchildren, Vanessa and Braxton Jenkins all of Salyersville, Kentucky, two siblings, Sandra Adkins of Peebles, Ohio and Lenny Adkins, several nieces, Breyana Estle, Jerica Estle and Natasha Cydrus, nephews, Richard Estle, Dodge Estle, Anthony and Faith Adkins and family Markus and Mary Cydrus, his best friend John Boothe, his favorite aunt, Jeannie Flint and many other aunts and uncles.

Graveside services will be held at 4 p.m. Friday, June 5, 2020 at the Craft Cemetery, South Shore, Kentucky.
