Iva Elizabeth Hacker Stone, 79, of South Shore, Ky., passed away on December 31, 2013 at 11:40 P.M. in South Shore Nursing and Rehab Center in South Shore, Ky. She was born in Wheelersburg, Oh. , February 25, 1934 a daughter of the late Cornelius Hacker and Inez Pitzen Hacker. She is survived by her husband of sixty years Elmer "Jack" Stone of South Shore, Ky., one daughter Sharon Hamilton of South Shore, Ky., three sisters Ruth Perry of Columbus, Oh., Peggy Salyers, of Franklin Furnace, Oh., and Pam Stevens of Sarasota, Fl. She is also survived by a sister in law Janet Cannon of Capo Beach Ca., four grandchildren Christopher White of Lloyd Ky., Ernest White of Portsmouth Oh., Terry Hamilton Jr of Oak Hill Oh., and Iva Hamilton of South Portsmouth Ky., as well as eighteen great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her son Jimmy D. Stone two sisters Edith Knapp, Gloria Gene Geyer and one brother Raymond Hacker four brother in laws Clifford "June" Stone Jr, Ron Stone, Carlos "Doc" Stone, and Mark Stone, one sister in law Teresa Stone, mother in law Gladys Stone and father in law Clifford Stone. Funeral services will be 1 P.M. Saturday, January 4, 2014 at the South Shore Old Regular Baptist Church in South Shore, Ky., with Rev. Kenny Fox, officiating. Burial will follow at Mt Zion Cemetery in South Shore, Ky. Friends may call at the church on Friday, January 3, 2014 from 6 P.M. till 8 P.M. and from 11 A.M. till the funeral hour on Saturday.
