Irene Taulbee, 89 of Greenup, Kentucky passed away Dec. 26, 2014 at her residence. She was born June 15, 1925 in Clothier, West Virginia, a daughter of the late Edward Colley and Mary VanBibber Colley, a member of the Sand Hill Christian Baptist Church in Wheelersburg, Ohio and a member of the Eastern Star Radiance Chapter 247 of South Shore, Kentucky. Survivng are one daughter, Penny "Steve" Ruggles of Franklin Furnace, Ohio, two sons, Terry Michael "Pamela" Taulbee of Lloyd, Kentucky and Edward R. Taulbee also of Lloyd, Kentucky, two special nephews, Roger Madden and Donald Madden, six grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and one great great grandchild and a host of family and friends. Preceded in death by her husband, Raymond N. Taulbee, Sept. 1, 2004, one son, Jerry Dean Taulbee and one sister, Dorothy McGinnis. Funeral services will be held 11 A.M. Tuesday, Dec. 30, 2014 at the Roberson Funeral Home in South Shore, Kentucky with Pastor Ronald Blevins and Brother Roger Madden, officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Cemetery, Quincy, Kentucky. Friends may call at the Roberson Funeral Home Monday, Dec. 29, 2014 from 6 P.M. till 8 P.M. and from 10 A.M. till the funeral hour on Tuesday.
