Obituary
Irene Johnson, 86, of South Shore, Kentucky passed away April 8 , 2015 in Best Care Nursing and Rehab in Wheelersburg, Ohio. She was born in Greenup County Kentucky, April 29, 1928, a daughter of the late Stanley Smith and Mary Aldridge Smith. Irene was retired from Mitchellace and attended Valley Chapel Christian Baptist Church in South Shore, Kentucky.
Surviving are two daughters, Brenda "Lonnie" Jordan, Bridget "Brian" Holbrook, one son, Damon "Joe" Johnson all of South Shore, Kentucky, six grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
Preceded in death by her husband, Joe Johnson, February 5, 1985.
Funeral services will be held 2 P.M. Saturday, April 11, 2015 at the Roberson Funeral Home in South Shore, Kentucky with Brother Wesley Claxon, officiating. Burial will follow in Collier Memorial Gardens in South Portsmouth, Kentucky. Friends may call at the Roberson Funeral Home from 12 noon till the Funeral hour at 2 P.M. on Saturday.
