Irene Burton, 93, of Portsmouth, Ohio, passed away Sunday, Jan. 20, 2019 in Bridgeport Nursing and Rehab in Portsmouth, Ohio. She was born in South Portsmouth, Kentucky, April 27, 1925, a daughter of the late James Morgan and Mildred Naomi Stevenson.

Preceded in death by her husband, Harold Burton Sr., four brothers, Raymond Morgan, James Morgan, Oliver Morgan and William Morgan, one sister, Janet Phipps.

Surviving are one son, Harold Burton Jr. of Troy, Ohio, grandson, Travis Allen of Troy, Ohio, several great grandchildren and a host of Nieces, Nephews and Cousins.

Funeral services will be held at 1 P.M. Thursday, Jan. 24, 2019 at the Roberson Funeral Home in South Shore, Kentucky with Rev. Norman Potter, officiating. Burial will follow in MT. Zion Cemetery, South Shore, Kentucky. Friends may call at the Funeral Home from 11 a.m. until the funeral hour at 1 p.m. on Thursday.
