Helen Lowder, 88, of West Union, Ohio, passed away Feb. 15, 2016 in Eagle Creek Nursing, West Union, Ohio. She was born in Portsmouth, Ohio, to the late Richard Lowder and Clara Ruby Lowder. Preceded in death by two brothers and four sisters, Challis Raymond Lowder, Marie Cunningham, Jewell Sells, Sara Ann Bennett, Gwendolyn Gail Dement and Richard Delor Lowder. Surviving are one son, William Oscar Lowder of Berea, Kentucky, one brother, John Charles Lowder of Peebles, Ohio, two grandchildren, Tara Ashley Eizenstat of Lexington, Kentucky, Nicholas Ryan Lowder of Berea, Kentucky, one great-granddaughter, Arly Madison Eizenstat. Services will be held at 1 P.M.  Saturday, Feb. 20, 2016 at the Roberson Funeral Home in South Shore, Kentucky with Pastor, Dale Reed, officiating. Burial will follow in Granny Thomas Cemetery, Garrison, Kentucky. Friends may call at the Funeral Home from 11 A.M. till the funeral hour at 1 P.M.
