Harvey M.  Hale, 90, of Portsmouth, Ohio, a former Greenup County resident passed away Oct. 21, 2014 in Southern Ohio Medical Center in Portsmouth, Ohio. He was born July 24, 1924 in Warnock, Kentucky, a son of the late Henry Clay Hale and Anna Hicks Hale. Surviving are his wife, Sally Coburn Hale, two daughters, Wade "Rita" Alvarado of South Portsmouth, Kentucky, Jackie "David" Boyle of Milford, Ohio. Three sons, Don "Judy" Hale of Lexington, Kentucky, Garry "Sue" Hale of Portsmouth, Ohio and Bill Hale of Pelhan, Alabama, fourteen grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. Preceded in death by three brothers, Hiram, Henry and Roby Hale, one sister, Caroline Hale. Funeral services will be held 1 P.M. Friday, Oct. 24, 2014 at the Roberson Funeral Home in South Shore, Kentucky with Elder Clayton Oliver, officiating. Burial will follow in Warnock Cemetery, Greenup, Kentucky.
