Gregory S. Holbrook, 52 of South Shore, Kentucky passed away October 8, 2014 at his residence, He was born, May 9, 1961 in Portsmouth, Ohio, a son of Margaret Vanderpool Holbrook and the late Dennis Holbrook. He was a Father, Husband, Uncle, Fisherman and loved his nieces and nephews,  a member of the South Shore Volunteer Fire Dept. with 35 years of service. Surviving are his wife, Kathy Cubine Holbrook to whom he married July 24, 1981, one son, Nathan "Heather" Holbrook of Ashland, Kentucky, two sisters, Teresa "Tim" Petry of New Richmond, Ohio and Ruthetta "Todd" Tudor of Mt. Orab, Ohio. Preceded in death by a grandson, Riley Holbrook. Funeral services will be held 2 P.M. Sunday, October 12, 2014 at the Roberson Funeral Home in South Shore, Kentucky with Rev. Greg Hudson, officiating, with Fireman Honors. Burial will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery, South Shore, Kentucky. Friends may call at the Roberson Funeral Home from 6 till 8 P.M. on Saturday, October 11, 2014 and from noon till the funeral hour on Sunday.
