Gordon Smith, 82, of South Shore, Kentucky, died Tuesday, Nov. 5, 2013 at the Hospice Center in Portsmouth, Ohio. He was born Feb. 16, 1931 in Carter County, Kentucky, the son of the late Dennis and Cinda Lewis Smith. He was preceded in death by his wife, Wanda Aldridge Smith, a son, Donald Adams and a brother, Elba Smith. He is survived by two sons, Larry "Vikki" Smith of Wheelersburg, Ohio, Leon "Laura" Smith of Sciotoville, Ohio, two daughters, Vickie "Bill" Fisher of North Carolina and Lisa "Glen" Muise of Oregon, one sister, Esta McGlone of South Shore, Kentucky, one aunt, Opal Lewis Carver of Vanceburg, Kentucky, ten grandchildren, Laurie "James" Hatcher, Erica "Dustin" McCain, Kristi Smith, Josh "Amanda" Smith, Debbie "Lonnie" Townsend, Rob "Kellie" Hayden, Amy "Richard" Gunter and Jodi "Toussian" McAuley, Steven Smith and Jessica Smith. He is also survived by fourteen great-grandchildren, Brady and Ethan McCain, Janice and Grace Lynch, Payton McBee, Tyler Smith, Jordan Easley, Caleb and Alora Hayden, Lyndsey Gunter and Robbie Person and T.J. McAuley, Kirsten Smith and Levi Smith. Services will be held 2 P.M.  Saturday, Nov. 9, 2013 at the South Shore Old Regular Baptist Church in South Shore, Kentucky with Rev. Todd Lockyer, officiating. Visitaion will be from 1 P.M. to 2 P.M. prior to the services. Roberson Funeral Home in South Shore, Kentucky is in charge of arrangements.
