Gilbert Clayton Callihan, 86, of South Shore, KY, passed away Nov. 17, 2014 in Oakmont Manor, Flatwoods, KY. He was born in Friendship, Ohio, Oct. 24, 1928, a son of the late Martin "Happy" Callihan and Carrie Johnson Callihan. He was a member of the South Shore First United Methodist Church in South Shore, KY, a Marine Veteran serving in the Korean War and retired from the Gaseous Diffusion Plant in Piketon, Ohio. Surviving are his wife Freda Roberson Callihan, one son, Keith Callihan and his wife Suzanne of Edmond, Oklahoma, one sister, Emma Thompson of Portsmouth, Ohio, one granddaughter, Sarah Wilkinson and her husband Michael Wilkinson of Syracuse, New York. Preceded in death by four brothers, Elmo "Tiny" Callihan, Charlie Callihan, Jacob "Red" Callihan and Dick Callihan, one sister, Ida Webb. Funeral services will be held 10 A.M. Wednesday, Nov. 19, 2014 at the Roberson Funeral Home in South Shore, KY, with Rev. Sean Shroll, officiating. Burial will follow in Siloam Cemetery, South Shore, KY. Friends may call at the Roberson Funeral Home from 6 till 8 P.M. on Tuesday, Nov. 18, 2014 and from 9 A.M. till the funeral hour on Wednesday. Military graveside services by the James L.
